I.-A.M. Metaphysical Ministry Program:
A Pandenominational Ministry
Overview:
This one year intensive program will provide prospective students
with the tools necessary to become a pandenominational minister within the Inner -Awareness Movement (I.-A.M.). Students will meet for eight hours each month for one full year. Each student will be required to study daily each month. It is highly recommended that all students be self disciplined in their study habits. The accumulation of your given assignments (workload) will compare to almost two full years of study, by eliminating summer breaks and semester breaks.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be ordained and eligible to register legally as clergy persons. Graduates will then be able to add the title “Reverend” to any existing titles that they may have.
Program Description:
The monthly eight hour sessions and study material will focus on a wide range of theological and metaphysical investigations. The first half of this program will concentrate on organized religion as a form of social control, various world religions, the history of Christianity including: Old and New Testament studies, the historical Jesus, apocryphal writings and ancient texts that were purposely omitted from the Bible. The second half of this program is filled with information regarding the philosophy of metaphysics; with a concentration on spiritual (energetic) healing modalities, expanding and shifting awareness of consciousness, connecting with the universal web, meditation, and spiritual counseling.
Training will also be provided for developing background and experience in the practical aspects of ministry, such as writing and performing various ceremonies as a pandenominational minister which will encompass ceremonies from a variety of cultural traditions.
Classes will take place one Saturday per month - depending on availability of student. Classes will be taught by Dr. Rev. Barbara Bryant with the assistance of other ministers and guest speakers representing various metaphysical and religious disciplines. Written assignments, study materials, lectures on CD’s, and guided readings will be provided each month.
